Prayer is a solitary moment with you and your Creator.
Be still and know that I am
Prayer is the voice that seeks to have a relationship
Seek Him
Prayer is that question your soul yearns to know.
Ask Him
Prayer is the act of giving Him your burdens
Trust Him
Prayer is a note played on the strings of your heart?
Praise Him
Prayer [...]

April 17th.
The clouds were magnificent today. Billows of pure white, soaring upward against a blue sky. Clouds and more clouds spiraling higher and higher, as if they were bursting with energy and needed some place to go. I had to take a picture. I have not seen such clouds since New Mexico.
They were awesome. They [...]

Christ died, than rose and continues to live
He lives to help us live
He [...]

I was 16 when I saw the rocky mountains for the first time; my heart was [...]

Just yesterday morning the ground was quite barren
Withered brown grass lay dry dull and frozen
And now it is snowing and snowing and snowing
Visions of Frosty excite my two children
And red shiny noses and sleigh rides await them
Because it is snowing and snowing and snowing
They gather their mittens all the while they are singing
Theres no better [...]

“Sometimes you have to watch somebody love something before you can love it yourself. It is as if they are showing you the way.”
The author Donald Miller never liked Jazz until he heard a man playing a saxaphone late one night in Portland. And he didn’t like God either until……
And so begins his story.
I must [...]

A scene out of the novel I am presently working on:
Reese tossed and turned in his sleep. He saw Sidney, he saw his sister and he saw death, waiting in the shadows. Pictures flashed before him, voices surfaced from the deep. His mind awakened old memories. Suddenly he saw himself at fourteen years of age, [...]
